Inviting the team and managing roles
Add Team Member invites a colleague. The table shows member, email, role, permissions, status.
The two built-in roles:
- Administrator — full access to every feature and setting
- Agent — limited access to the main features
Create Custom Role defines reusable roles of your own, for example Supervisor or Administration. Careful: members with a custom role are still at agent level as far as the controls reserved to administrators are concerned.
The rule that matters. The role's default permissions apply to everyone who inherits them. Anyone with customised permissions keeps the snapshot taken at that moment and does not receive future updates to the role. If you customise one person's permissions, that person leaves centralised management: take that into account before doing it to twenty users.
The Enterprise plan's limit is 999 members.
