It is marked Non-official connection: it does not go through Meta and it depends on your phone, which has to stay switched on and online.
Campaigns can be run from here too. In the Campaigns wizard the unofficial channel can be selected, and along with it comes the Anti-Ban section, which paces the sending and its pauses precisely to lower the risk of restrictions on the account. It is worth setting before the first send, not after the first problem — see Creating a campaign.
That said, for mass marketing the official Meta API is still the recommendation: it handles higher volumes, it gives delivery and read receipts, and it does not expose the number to the risk the unofficial route carries by design.
Clicking the card opens Connect WhatsApp, with one option to decide first:
Sync existing message history — imports the message history already on the phone. Useful so as not to start from nothing, but weigh the privacy side: it brings conversations from before the connection into Talkzen.
Then press Generate QR Code and scan it from the phone with WhatsApp → Linked devices → Link a device. The code expires quickly: if it goes dark, generate it again.
The phone has to stay switched on and online, otherwise the session drops.
